Another incredible creation from the JaneFinds Custom Shop. The original print has quite an interesting past that is actually based in Beverly Hills, California. The Original "Martinique Banana Leaf" wallpaper, was created by decorator Don Loper in 1942 exclusively for the Beverly Hills Hotel. Loper was a true creative spirit. An artist. At the time of developing the wallpaper he was a popular dancer, fashion designer and interior decorator. Almost 80 years later, the print he created is one of the most recognizable. As the years passed, we are increasingly seeing the print cascade over everything from throw pillows to runways and swimsuits. The print has taken on a life of its own and has become almost synonymous with fresh, summer vibes.
Since the Beverly Hills Hotel was (and still is) a social elite meeting spot, it is inevitable that the fun, tropical wallpaper has continuously been photographed behind countless celebrities
We cannot get enough of this print and love the idea of taking it on an exotic, summer getaway. Or use it on a cloudy Spring day to keep you motivated for warm, sunny days. I chose this print because it makes me happy! I think about Sunny Cali, fabulous people & incredible energy surrounding this stunning print! I could not think of a better canvas than a white 35 Birkin! Grab this beauty you will never regret it from JaneFinds Custom Shop!
